If you have lived in Toowoomba or anywhere on the Darling Downs, have bought or sold property, then it’s likely you know of Lyndsey Klaassen. Lyndsey is Wonderley and Hall’s longest serving Conveyancer, a profession she stepped into as she stepped out of school at Ipswich Girls Grammar.
Over the years as a conveyancer, Lyndsey has helped families upsize as their needs grow, retirees and empty nesters downsize into smaller homes, with some being repeat clients or children of clients ready to step into their own home. She particularly loves helping first home buyers, guiding them through their first experience, purchasing a home.
Lyndsey’s clients are not limited to the Darling Downs. She has assisted clients with buying and selling property throughout Queensland. Lyndsey and her family have deep roots in the Darling Downs region. Born in Dalby, her family have farmed and run businesses throughout the area.
Since starting work, Lyndsey has always been a part of the fabric of the Toowoomba community. In between raising three children and working as a conveyancer, Lyndsey also owned successful motel and restaurant businesses as well as bought and sold her own homes. Not slowing down as she became an empty nester, Lyndsey is now a farmer, raising cattle on her property on the Western Darling Downs near Bell. As her work week ends, Lyndsey heads out to her property to ensure the cattle are thriving, performs any farm maintenance, takes the opportunity to ride her horse as well as catch up with friends in the area.
Lyndsey also gives back to the community, supporting fundraising and charities in many ways. In September, every year, Lyndsey kicks off her heels (mostly) and puts on her walking shoes to raise money and awareness for Pancreatic Cancer.
